Data centers & technology

Cambay has been a pioneer in the data center and telecommunications real estate industry. In 1999, Cambay developed and then leased 200 Paul Avenue in San Francisco. 200 Paul was one of the first "Internet Gateway" properties in the western United States and remains one of the largest. In 2001, Cambay developed and leased 1100 Space Park Drive in Santa Clara. At the time, 1100 Space Park was the largest multi-tenant data center in the San Francisco Bay Area. In late 2004, Cambay participated in the IPO of Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR), contributing its data center assets into Digital Realty in exchange for trust units. Today, Cambay retains a substantial holding in Digital Realty.
